More Baby Photos

He's back by popular demand . . .

. . . and still sleepy and not looking very impressed by you. I'd imagine he'll strike this pose a lot on his desk in school.

Hey, he DOES have eyes! "You wanna piece of me?"

More big eyes! He's a cool little man.

Just letting you know that Joseph Smith translated part of the Book of Mormon by reading disappearing words off of a rock in a hat. Google the pictures. Also, he married women who were already married, including sisters and a 14 year old girl! People will tell you that people got married young in those days, but the average wedding age was 21 years old in the 1800s. The church is totally false. Best of luck to you! Spread the truth!

Well Gloria,
I'm at a loss to see what your comment has to do with my blog posting. But, since you brought it up, I'll plant my flag here and say that the church is totally true.
One thing that's often hard for people to accept, especially in light of recent odd happenings in Texas, is that if it's really God asking us to do something, it is right. Unfortunately, some people make poor decisions and/or wish to manipulate others, and they attribute their evil agenda to God's will. That doesn't mean that God will never ask us to do anything that is hard, unconventional, or socially unacceptable, though. He might even ask us to carry our only son to the top of Mt. Moriah and sacrifice him (see Genesis 22). Since there's a precedent for such things, we must be extremely careful. The key, then, if one believes in God, is to be sure what His will really is.
That's why I'm GLAD I have the Book of Mormon. I've read it repeatedly and thorougly, pondered its teachings, and prayed about it. I've come to the conclusion that, even though people try and nitpick at it, the best and most reasonable explanation is that it was indeed translated by the gift and power of God. Thus, I can accept Joseph Smith as a true prophet.
So thanks for sharing. And don't worry. You can be sure I will spread the truth. There are obviously a lot of misinformed people out there.

The more I think about the first post to this thread, Bri, the more I think I'll take my blog to the private domain! Great answer, though. You rock.

Adorable baby pics...he doesn't look too wrinkled and itty-bitty. How big was he when he arrived? I know L is working on announcements, but I'm anxious to know the important details! Give her a hug for me.
